Pytchley Church Roof Renovation

A simple Collyweston re-slate with the original roof being estimated at 150 to 200 years old.  The slate battens and slate nails had rotted and were causing slates to slip off.

There was evidence of bats in the eaves so access points were left when re-slating.

The project required the upgrading of lead soakers and flashings as well as the treated timber battens and stainless steel nails.

A simple straight forward re-slate good for at least another 100 to 200 years.
